FrankRe is A new chapter in the FrankRuehl story. When Raphael Frank designed the classic font 110 years ago, he was to a large degree defining the written revitalized Hebrew language. He created a bridge between the ancient religious Hebrew, and the national, rich and vibrant Hebrew. One that produces beautiful literature, newspaper headlines and billboards.

Today, in the digital age, we need to conserve the Hebrew’s visual identity more than ever, one that will be connected to its roots in as much as it will be state of the art. FrankRe was designed with a great love for the Hebrew alphabet, with the aim of moving the greatness of "FrankRuehl" into the 21st century, without losing its classic charm.

FrankRe has an array of unique italics used to fine-tune the "ordinary" letters and as an independent font for titles and short texts.

FrankRe is an extremely professional font, which includes precise, standardized vowel symbols, trope for biblical texts, OpenType™ features to control typographical subtleties and nuances, and a matching set of English letters as well as support for 229 Latin languages.

At first FrankRe will feel very familiar, but the skilled eye will notice the small details and nuances. It is very readable and suitable for both print and digital texts; in runner text it is "transparent" and as a headline it takes center stage. It is an every day, contemporary and extremely useful font.
